Lahore Home To Arrest "Terrorists
Lahore: Punjab Police will send a team on Friday to search Imran Khan's residence in Lahore with a view to arresting those alleged hiding here after obtaining permission from the former prime minister, a senior Punjab official said on Thursday. .
The
delegation will be headed by the Lahore Commissioner.
Punjab Chief IT Officer Amir Mir said the team will make an appointment with Imran and then search his house with cameras.
The prime minister added that in an interview with Geo News, the police said that about 400 policemen would accompany the group "to arrest the terrorists there".
The Punjab government official said the decision was taken because the head of Pakistan's Ministry of Justice could not meet the deadline given to hand over the terrorists.
"We (the interim government) have decided to send a delegation to Khan Sahab under the supervision of the Lahore chief," said Geo News Mir.
The Minister gave the PTI leader 24 hours to hand over "30-40 terrorists" located at the Zaman Park residence, which expired at 14:00 on Sunday,
Thursday.
Mir said that the meeting was convened by Mohsin Naqvi, Acting Prime Minister of Punjab, and that the delegation decided to set up an appointment with Khan's group and meet with him after Friday prayers tomorrow.
"They will ask him (the Khan) to let them find a job.

On Wednesday, Mir claimed that "30 to 40" terrorists were hiding in Khan's Zaman Park area, and the sheikhs had to hand them over within 24 hours,
Meanwhile, Mir said the police had arrested eight people who had escaped from Zaman Park as terrorists.
